The C Card Scheme
The C Card Scheme allows young people aged 13-25 to get access to FREE condoms, Dental Dams and lubricants and ask any questions they have about sex, sexually transmitted infections and relationships.
You don’t have to be having sex to use this service, the advice is free and confidential and is aimed at helping young people make the right choice about their sexual health.
The scheme is available from a range of places including:
Health Centres
GP Practices
Youth Centres
Colleges and Schools
Pharmacies
…and many more
How to get a C Card
To get a C Card you need to attend a registration point and go through a registration with a trained C Card worker. The trained worker will have a discussion with you about a range of things including sex, STIs, pregnancy, relationships and how to use a condom.
Once this is complete and the worker feels you are ready for a C Card you will be given a C Card with your personal ID number and can start accessing free condoms and lubes.
You dont have to go alone, if you would feel more comfortable going with a friend, or even your partner the C Card Scheme welcome’s group registrations.
